A Recognized Hereditary Society
The Order is incorporated as a non-profit, non-stock corporation and operates exclusively for purposes permitted under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, or its corresponding provisions under future federal law.
A 501(c)(3) tax-exempt application is currently in process with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Foundation and Incorporation
The Hereditary Order of the Red Dragon was founded on July 6, 2018, in Rockingham County, Virginia.
The Articles of Incorporation were formally filed in Barbour County, Alabama, establishing the legal foundation of the Order.
The Order’s Constitution and Bylaws were adopted during an electronically conducted Executive Council Meeting of the Founders, ensuring continuity and governance aligned with modern standards.

Official Regalia of the Order
CityPride, Ltd. serves as the official jeweler of the Order. All insignia, including chest ribbons, neck ribbons, and tailored bows and tails, must be purchased exclusively from the authorized jeweler.
- Insignia are available in regular and miniature sizes
- Insignia are suspended on a white grosgrain ribbon
- Officers and Councilors may purchase a wide gold bar, engraved with their respective title
